A well-established, full-service law firm is seeking an experienced trusts and estates attorney for its Los Angeles office. The attorney will advise affluent individuals and families on sophisticated estate-planning, wealth-transfer and tax matters, independently managing engagements from the initial client consultation through the preparation and implementation of comprehensive estate plans. This includes drafting both foundational and advanced planning instruments, such as irrevocable trusts and structures addressing estate, gift and income-tax considerations.

The ideal candidate will bring at least 8 years of relevant trusts and estates experience, along with strong technical, drafting and interpersonal skills. The role calls for someone who can confidently lead client meetings and build trusted, long-term relationships with high-net-worth clients and their families. Active California Bar membership is required, and the attorney should be available to work from the firm’s Los Angeles office several days each week.

The salary range for this position is $175,000–$300,000.
