A leading global law firm is seeking an Innovation Attorney & Practice Advisor for its New York, Washington, D.C., or San Francisco office. This is a core member of the firm’s Practice Innovation & Technology team, working directly with attorneys to reimagine how legal services are delivered by bridging the substantive practice of law with AI and emerging technology.

The role embeds with practice groups to diagnose workflow challenges, architect reimagined delivery models, and lead AI pilots from concept through enterprise deployment. It also involves close collaboration across the firm’s innovation function: partnering on training and adoption efforts to help attorneys build trust and habitual use of AI tools, translating attorney needs into product requirements for tool configuration, defining adoption metrics and business cases, and ensuring firm knowledge and precedent are structured to power AI systems. The role also scouts the broader GenAI landscape, contributes to build-versus-buy technology decisions, and represents the firm’s innovation work in client-facing settings.

Candidates should be attorneys with a JD and 3–5 years of Big Law practice experience at an AmLaw 100 firm, with a consultative style, strong AI and technology fluency, and the ability to translate between legal and technical audiences. The salary range is $175,000–$257,000.
